A large project and a good exercise in publisher co-operation. We worked closely with Rovio to provide a clear and on-brand GUI design. Much of the time was spent producing concept art for the team to follow and reference.
The shot on the right was the current iteration. The shot on the left is the updated notes for the GUI design. Notes and asset names are there to help realise the updated layout.

The team did a great job on the map screen. There was a fair amount of gui in there.

GUI notes
Often, I'd produce new visuals for the next iteration in the GUI design. It was an evolving process.
Simple assets
Some assets seem simple, but there was a fair amount of back and forward until we got something we liked. Here, you can see the speech bubble designs.
Treasure hunt
Awesome backing art from the team. Having the backing in such a deep 3D set helped to make the GUI stand out all the more.
