Fresh & Vintage is a good example of branding that required certain style cues. The client was requesting something that felt slightly period in its execution. The visual cues of thread reels, old printing techniques, vintage fashion labels and familiar design cues from past times.

Initial logo Ideas

As always, the first stage was to present as many rough, quick ideas to the client as possible, to gain a rapid idea of the client's likes and needs.

Exploring design layouts

Using the idea of thread cotton reel designs, the client wanted to explore this design element.

Exploring text layout

Taking cues from the V&A museum was another design choice that was explored for the clients needs.

Focusing in on a final design

The client chose to have two types of logo in their identity going forward. The last stage was a refinment in the colour, texture and layout of the final designs.

The final design

Used in both online and print based media. From web page headers to vintage clothing labels.
